But it was the silence before the hurricane, as the Pistons poured in 42 points while the visitors scored just 25. The third quarter was a comeback for the Lakers, helped by Luka’s 32 points and six assists. Austin Reaves also contributed a valuable 24 points and five assists. LeBron created most chances for the side with 10 assists and also scored 12 points. All efforts fell short as they were defeated in the final quarter by a total of 113–110.

The home side got a slow start with a four-point deficit until the second quarter. But Jalen Duren and Daniss Jenkins helped a massive point surge in the second quarter, scoring 42 points. But it didn’t last long, as an 11-point loss in the third quarter added a thrilling factor for the final one, where it was just a difference of two points separating both sides. The final game had the most thrilling moments of the contest. Daniss Jenkins shone vitally, scoring a massive 30 points and assisting eight times, while the opposition side was a bit out of form.
It was a good game for the fans, although it had many ups and downs. But new challenges await in the next fixture, as the Lakers go up against the Indiana Pacers. A healthy and friendly fixture awaits with the return of the Lakers to their home arena.
