A disappointing final in the Eastern Conference, where the Cleveland Cavaliers went out in just four games. The New York Knicks booked their spot in the NBA Finals, where a spot is available for both teams from the Western Conference. The San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder are heading for a sixth game with a 3-2 lead for the Thunder in the NBA finals.

Eastern Conference Finals:

The New York Knicks were incredible, where they knocked out the Cleveland Cavaliers without losing any game. Home ground proved a fortress for the Knicks, where they beat the first game by 11 points, the second game by 16 points, the third one by 13, and the fourth by 37 points. In a star performance, Jalen Brunson was stunning with his 102 points and 31 assists. An average involvement of 33 points per game. Meanwhile, the defence line worked perfectly for them, restricting the Cavaliers under 100 points twice. Which was quite interesting for them and a good sign before the NBA Final.

From Cleveland, Donovan Mitchell was decent throughout, contributing 109 points in all four games. Where, in the matter of assists, Mitchell was a bit unlucky with 9 in four games. An average of 29 points per game was decent. However, the defence line was the weakest part of the team. Their biggest defeat was by 37 points. The Knicks scored 130 points, which was the biggest scoreline in the finals for them. Somewhere, it was the factor they lost against the Knicks.

Western Conference Finals:

The San Antonio Spurs were on the brink of losing, but they still got a chance. They lost the fifth game and trail by 3-2 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder beat the Spurs by 13 points, where Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 32 points and 9 assists. Meanwhile, Jared McCain made 20 points and assisted zero times. The Spurs lost their momentum. Somewhere, Devin Vassell underperformed with just six points and four assists despite being on the field for 36 minutes. However, De’Aaron Fox’s performance was weak, with just 8 points and 9 assists contribution.

For the next game scheduled on May 29, Friday, the home ground will be a plus for them. For the Thunder, it will be a chance to secure their spot in the final.
