With 12 years of sportswriting experience, Zane Miller joined Verticality Sports in January 2026, where he covers a variety of topics including NASCAR, football, hockey, baseball and rugby. In addition to reporting on sports news for Verticality, Zane operates his own sports history blog at zmiller82.blogspot.com. He also wrote over 1,000 articles for the sports blogging site Scorum from 2018 to 2025, focusing on both current and historical content. Zane has also served as a newspaper beat reporter for both high school and collegiate athletics, writing for the BG News, Mason Chronicle, Fairmont Sentinel and Bowling Green Sentinel-Tribune over the course of his career. Born and raised in Mason, Ohio, he graduated from Mason High School in 2015 before attending Bowling Green State University, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2019.
